The heady days of all the kids rushing to mum or dad for money when the Teddy Bear's Picnic was heard coming down the road. Then all rushing out of doors at the same time. 1960's England, seem much more tranquil than now although I am rose tinting it.

My mum would not buy me lollies as she believed they were unhealthy.
I was allowed Ice cream cos it had milky goodness in it, and occasionally an Orange Fruitie cos she believed the ads that said it was made with real orange juice.
If it was up to me I would have gone for a Zoom every time.

And then search for more lolly sticks and shape them to make a design that you could whizz through the air, anyone else do that?

A Zoom and A packet of Spangles washed down with a bottle of Cresta. The 70s must have been a golden age for dentists.

A Zoom and A packet of Spangles washed down with a bottle of Cresta. The 70s must have been a golden age for dentists. Dentists got paid by the filling in those days - truly a golden age for UK dentistry
