I was just perusing my collection of recordings by The Fall
I have got loads - far in excess of any other artist
So, with that in mind, which artist do you have most recordings by?

Didn't realise the Dan had released that many recordings but yeah.... www.discogs.com/artist/160906-Steely-DanI only think of them as a 70s band with five or six albums Then there's the solo stuff too - are you including that?

It's.... err.... Queen. Just bought a massive joblot, all the studio and official live albums, nearly all the singles plus loads of concert bootlegs which I'll have to sell privately. 50 lps in total.
Personally, it's all the official Clash releases, including the NME freebie.

I'm guessing you can still do a brisk trade in Queen PU?
Maybe more popular than ever?
I've never really warmed to them but do quite like the odd track here and there - tends to be the earlier stuff
My mate got that NME Clash freebie - I was too late. How many of those were pressed up?
I've probably got most of The Clash stuff too now I think about it including all the singles
Never bought the Cut The Crap album but that's the only ommission I can think of - even got everything that BAD made too

I'm hosting a record fair on Saturday and I expect a fair bit of that Queen stuff will go. Apart from the first three albums, their stuff just washes over me.
NME freebie, no idea about how many pressed. I picked my copy up long after it's release, early eighties I think. If I recall correctly, you had to purchase the debut which had a sticker on and send it off to NME, maybe include postage as well. It was the only release which had Capital Radio back then. The Interview track was of it's time and makes me wince now. Both tracks are combined as one on The Story of The Clash album.

hmmm... On vinyl... The Ramones, The Damned and 999 (all studio albums plus live, demos etc) I have most of The Stranglers and Banshees albums on vinyl too.
Have the Beatles CD Boxset of their complete official releases from that time too.

Anybody else regret flogging their records when cd’s became the next big thing? I had first pressings of a lot of early new wave records that I passed on for the price of a packet of fags back in the 70's. Some of them fetch a good price these days but you can hear the tunes online easily enough. The only vinyl I regret getting rid of was from the rave era. I used to DJ a bit and amassed about 300 12"s including a number of white labels and dub plates, many of which are impossible to find online.
