Just restocking the soul section, listened to three Stylistics LP's in a row. Like treacle coming out of the speakers, I'm going to end up with diabetes in my ears.

The Stylistics - I Can't Give You Anything (But My Love)
Takes me straight back to 1975
How's the market for The Stylistics in 2022 PU?

Steady seller, one a month along with Lionel Richie and Tavares. The sixties stuff like Pickett, Redding, Sam & Dave only lasts a few days.

See that sort of stuff on repro singles, which does goes reasonably quick. I do have some Japanese obi strip soul albums on Discogs, Ramsey Lewis, Rare Earth, Bob and Earl etc. They won't take long to shift.

The Gunners - Television
60s Dutch beat
It reminded me of something when I first heard it. Finally, I realised it was The Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams. It's actually only a bit reminiscent of The Gunners, but still a bit

The Scientists - EP [1980]
I really like the early James Baker-era Scientists that made this EP although the later swampy version was probably the band at its most inventive

The Scientists - Blood Red River [12 inch EP, 1983]
By the time the band made this record, only Kim Salmon remained from the original line-up. Epic

Mental As Anything - Troop Movements In The Ukraine
No idea why this mob thought of this as a topic for a song in 1980!
