Very sad but....
Does anyone on here like the Foo Fighters? I have had nearly all their catalogue come through the shop and I just can't remember a single song.

Sorry when someone dies so young, but in all honesty the Foo Fighters are just such anodyne bland, coffee table/dinner party rock to me. Remember someone saying that Dire Straits were the sort of band you like when you have given up on music and the Foo Fighters fit that same bill for me. Plus the Dave Grohl "nicest man in rock" thing gets on my tits, want him to punch a rabbit or something. |

I can listen to the Foo Fighters in small doses, especially their early output - Any band with Pat Smear in it, i have something of a respect for.
Very sad about Taylor. It's a reminder that even people that appear to 'have it all' can be very vulnerable.

Me, being an absolute cynic, wonders how much effort and stage management has been put into this supposed tribute. Ever since that Princess Diana died, people have gone overboard showing their grief and often with ulterior motives. |

Has anyone watched the tribute? Waste of electricity even if he was in a group that mattered. I found David's loss hard to bear but I wouldn't have dreamed of watching a tribute. I went round a friend's house, listened to 'Ziggy' and 'Low' and talked about what he meant to us. |
