It is with the greatest sadness that the family of Jordan Mooney and myself (her partner) are announcing that she has passed away at the tender age of 66. She died peacefully a stone’s throw away from the sea in her home town of Seaford, East Sussex in the company of her loving family at 9pm last night (Sunday 3rd April). www.brightonandhovenews.org/2022/04/04/jordan-has-passed-away/

She died from a relatively rare form of cancer known as cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer)
Terrible news
Spoke to her a couple of times. Only briefly, but was a lovely person. I was always in total awe of her. Such bravery back in the mid 70s
A total original
Her book is well worth reading

I've had friends contacting me about this - a real shock and i was hoping it was not true. I feel lucky to have met her and send her archive goodies to her home in Seaford. RIP Pamela Xx

Reeling from the news Andy
Funny how certain deaths can hit you hard
It's partly the history which happened at a key point in my life, and partly having seen her out and about at numerous punk gigs in Brighton when she seemed so full of life and was clearly having a great time
I've bounced around with her at 999, Johnny Moped, Vic Godard etc. She always retained a love of the music and, seemingly, of being alive

...i was looking forward to the possibility of bumping into her again at a gig somewhere in London, e.g. the 100 Club and getting her feedback on the things i had sent her... like you say, it was great to see her out and about.
i remember calling out to her "Goodnight Jordan!!" as i was heading home along Oxford street and she spun round and shouted "THANKS!!" as she was too.

Ah, she came to the Nottingham Sandpiper with the original Adam and the Ants, she was a real striking figure to us hicks in the sticks. The following week there were a couple of punkettes sporting bee hive hairdos and those mascara eye wings.

I can't add more than others have said. A sad loss.
I saw her a few times at gigs in Brighton and she was always enjoying herself.
RIP Jordan, and thanks for the part you played.

There's some lovely footage online of when Walter Lure and Mick Rossi played at the 100 Club singing "Chinese Rocks" and Jordan gets up to sing with them.
She gives Walter a big tender hugg at the end.
