I was thinking of asking for ECT. Sometimes I struggle to get out of bed , it's horrible.
But, if that fails , there is nowhere else to go for broken, burned-out people.

It's completely different from the One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest days.
But they obviously don't like to use it unless absolutely necessary.

^Some of the above is absolutely heartbreaking.
Children turning up at A&E 'wanting to die'.
I can deal with at least 30 patients a day who are suffering from anxiety and depression and this is on a good day.
The real pandemic in this country is mental health and not Covid which is being used as a political and social bludgeon.
What a fucked up state Britain is.

The whole world is facing this state of atomisation and self hatred that comes from comparing themselves negatively to other people on social media.
What a finely tuned hell we have created. But it seems every generation gets handed a brutal Darwinian test.

Social media is a completely negative medium as far as I can see. It's rife with surveillance, peer pressure, bullying, criminality and narcissism.
Couple that with the half zombified fuckwits who are obsessed with it every day and you've got a docile population.
It'll get worse too with each passing generation.
