Good point about GG. I can still appreciate that music despite the crimes of the person whose name is on the finished product

Watched it with my mam and my brother a couple years ago and the pair of plebs didn’t like it. They’re sadly finished in my book.

I can't imagine anyone not being riveted by it From the moment the helicoptor blades morph with the ceiling fan and the Doors kick in - to the finale in the jungle - it's solid gold

They would give my records to a charity shop if I died without a second thought, they’re uncultured swine but I love them deeply! I’d need to ask them what they didn’t like as it was a while ago.

Apocalypse Now has arguably the greatest opening scene of any film.
However, this runs it very, very close.

Jaws still stands the test of time despite the rubber shark.
The 3 main characters were sensational with a towering performance by Robert Shaw.
Raging Bull is a great film but it borrows heavily from this I reckon.

No doubt about it in my mind but this is one of the greatest films ever made.
