I can't imagine anyone not being riveted by it From the moment the helicoptor blades morph with the ceiling fan and the Doors kick in - to the finale in the jungle - it's solid gold |

They would give my records to a charity shop if I died without a second thought, they’re uncultured swine but I love them deeply! I’d need to ask them what they didn’t like as it was a while ago. |

Apocalypse Now has arguably the greatest opening scene of any film.
However, this runs it very, very close.

Jaws still stands the test of time despite the rubber shark.
The 3 main characters were sensational with a towering performance by Robert Shaw.
Raging Bull is a great film but it borrows heavily from this I reckon.
