National League football on BT is hilarious. Because there are only barely a thousand strong crowd, every fuck, cunt, wanker is picked up by the pitch side mics. The commentator is apologizing every five minutes, seriously give it up mate. Absolutely, yet they always do it, as if any football fan is going to be worried about a few expletives I suppose it's the younger kids they are worried about

They didn't attack the dead british queen directly but the institution. They'd be a bit more chill about it if the crown were resting on the head of a descendant of James II, and definitely less butthurt.

It's up to the parents to send them to bed when the game is on.

I put it in quotation marks because some Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people find the word 'native' offensive The current polite term for indigenous people in Canada is 'First Nation', do you use that in Oz? The term First Nations has been picked up enthusiastically by many institutions etc to replace the previous favourite Indigenous. That term was rejected by many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people because it lumped them in together. Of course, First Nations does the same and might be passed over at some point, but is popular right now. Some right-wing commentators have attacked the term First Nations by arguing there was no 'nation' in Australia until the arrival of the British, so the term is good insofar as it upsets pricks like that.
'Native', meanwhile, is considered offensive by some as they perceive it to have derogatory overtones when used by Europeans and others. It is also seen as placing people on the same level as flora and fauna.
And now, back to the palace, the football, or wherever else this story goes

Only to be expected from the Green Brigade. Why the fuck is the commentator apologising for a perfectly reasonable political point of view? They didn't attack the dead british queen directly but the institution. BT only speak for themselves- no one else.☘🇮🇪 Could be apologising for the word Fuck? Blanked out in this photo... They obviously didn't like the message either or the one about Michael Fagan's dalliance with the now deceased british queen.

I doubt that most of the half-witted neds in that pic are capable of saying 'republican', never mind understanding what it means

To describe the Green Brigade as 'neds' displays breathtaking ignorance but as usual I leave you to consider your own council😃

Watch: Queen Elizabeth II's lying-in-state A dedicated stream of the Queen lying in state in Westminster Hall, London, for people who want to pay their respects virtually. Who are these people ? What motivates them ? What else is going on in there lives or not going on to do this ? And is standing watch by the coffin the most boring job in the world ? What are they thinking about ? How long do they have to stand there like a human statue ? www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-62902778

Bizarre. I think it was the BT commentator who used the word impeccable and then contradicted himself in the next sentence by saying there was audible dissent. Big clubs tend to avoid negative reportage ever since Fergusson denied access for bad stuff said about his agent son by the BBC. If it were a Millwall or a lower League team it would have been all over the press. The National Anthem wasn't even played or it no doubt would have been even worse.

This is one of the reason's why the break up of Britain is a social and political necessity and imperative. Docile, dim-witted fuckwits bereft of any dignity knowing their place beneath their 'betters' as this Tory government prepares to fleece them. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-62913254
