Every day's a school day here at TP Did The Cherry Boys release other stuff? The song sounds familiar, but the song title even more so. There was a rock venue in Sydney's Kings X in the 1980s called Kardomah Cafe. I don't recall ever going there but might have

This turns up on that Revolutionary Spirit box set. Absolute punk nugget, I think this single was the only thing they ever put out, would be great to find more of their stuff. Features Paul Rutherford later of Frankie Hollywood fame.

The Spitfire Boys released two singles... Budgie played on the first before joining The Slits
This is their second record, released in 1979. Some Post-Punk touches to this ace tune...

Good info Andy. Two years between that and British Refugee and a bit of change of style, Peter Perret type vocal too. Averaging £40 on Discogs, be nice to find it in a joblot.
B side worth a listen as well, slightly clunky lyrics but has that Ultravox! Ha Ha Ha type rock backing.
