There's something about prison performances.
Here's a clip of BB King playing a prison outside New York in 1973 which is spellbinding if you're in the mood for a bit blues...

Classic clip of Chicory Tip playing Son of My Father (first single I ever bought - along with Telegram Sam) on a windy British seafront...
Son Of My Father
I can confirm that it was filmed at Southsea Seafront in Portsmouth - a place I lived for a year and where I had the T of my L
Also look out for the kid in the parka with the football under his arm. He'll be pushing 60 now

That's great Zeo
The Action are mod-tastic
Amazing how they never really broke through. Reg had it all going on
Lack of washing facilities at the venues meant that van must have stunk

The Action are mod-tastic The true mod group. See their manager Rikki Farr losing his rag with the freaks at the IOW festival

Another evocative doco from the 60's
Fast forward to 26:30 to witness disgruntled mods unimpressed by the psychedelic experience

That's a classic. I've seen it before but not for some time.
There's a tiny scene in Quodrophenia when they're down in Brighton, and one of them is last seen talking passionately to a proto-hippy.
I find that moment where Mod splits into psych and hard Mod/Skin a fascinating point

I find that moment where Mod splits into psych and hard Mod/Skin a fascinating point AMEN to that. Being 14 in '77 was ok, but I'd rather have been around 18 in '66
