It should have been an acoustic Snuff gig in Guildford tonight, but illness in the band has forced cancellation. So it's Stranglers in Portsmouth towards the end of this month next. No gig in Guildford, so Guildford Stranglers are next

It should have been an acoustic Snuff gig in Guildford tonight, but illness in the band has forced cancellation. So it's Stranglers in Portsmouth towards the end of this month next. No gig in Guildford, so Guildford Stranglers are next And the Snuff gig should have been at The Star, where the Guildford Stranglers made their debut in 1974, and has a plaque on the wall to recognise this fact. I was in Guildford last night seeing Alice Roberts talking about her new book 'Crypt' - but I'll save the details for the 'talkarcheology' forum.

I went to a Master Peace album launch this week - very enjoyable, and a fun album full of indie party bangers

Next week is busy Friday: Jerry Sadowitz Saturday: London Calling tribute band Sunday: Echo and the Bunnymen Sadowitz had a.little rant about punk. Said it ruined music and was made.by south London cunts 😆. There was actually some side aching moments tonight whereas it has often been just a bitter rant in recent years.

Danse Society new album The Loop launch party tonight. They've put a lot of effort into both the recording and packaging. Hoping it's a success for them.

Yard Act on Monday / OMD on Tuesday / Daisy Rickman on Friday
It's all go
I went to a Richard Norris book launch this week - book looks great. RN seem to have worked with a wide range of people. Really good mates and collaborator with Strummer around the time leading up to the first Mescaleroes album
