Along with John Barry he was the greatest film composer that ever lived but he was more than that too.
Morricone's music was some of the most emotional I"ve ever heard.
End of an era😢

We played a whole raft of different stuff that day/night, including Kinks, Monkees, Motorhead, Sex Pistols. My nephew carried out the wedding cake to a sound track of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Aye its iconic but the soundtracks to 'Once Upon a Time in the West' & 'A Fistful of Dynamite'were his best film scores👍
