The quest for 10-in-a-Row begins in earnest on August the 1st ππ The huns and Gerrard under intense pressure to stop it. The huns and Gerrard handling that intense pressure pretty well so far Ain't over yet though Lennon should have some dignity and walk now after tonight's disgraceful defeat.π€¬π‘π€¬π‘π€¬π‘ Makes sense to get a new person in sooner rather than later More time for the new person to evaluate what needs to be done and start making the necessary changes before next season Would the board at Celtic have already done the necessary succession planning and so be ready to appoint straight away? Not so sure they're that proactive - but who knows?

Celtic have made it easy for Gerrard as the board have fell asleep at the wheel in which was arguably the clubs most important season.
It says a lot that during the game against Antwerp mid week that the ref was the first person to give a penalty AGAINST them all season.
Celtic aren't even close due to their own fuck ups.
Appointing a 'yes' man manager with awful team tactics and selection.
Our recruitment has been am expensive shambles and the league was thrown away against the huns in the first few weeks of the season.
Gerrard has consistently dropped points against smaller teams this season and was beaten by lowly St Mirren in the League Cup.
We're worse which says a lot about Lennon.
Still Sevco can look forward to winning their first trophy in a few weeks after decades of failure.

Yeah, it's a shame that Celtic are not making more of a fight of it as a revitalised Rangers versus a Celtic firing on all cylinders would have been a lot of fun
Rangers have been amazing in the League so far - zero defeats, four draws and 26 wins
If Celtic could have played with similar ruthlessness it could have been a gripping title race probably coming down to the outcome of the Old Firm games
Ah well - maybe next season eh?

Sevco have improved-with the help of certain refs-from last season but it's all relative to Celtics collapse from last season also.
However, you could see the slip developing under Lennon once Rodgers departed.
Considering the board knew we were going for 10IAR, they should have had the ambition to plan for it.
They didn't. Rodgers left due to the board interfering with his management of the team and Lennon was conveniently 'available'.
Considering the investment Sevco have put in compared to other wee clubs, its enivitable they should win.
Our recruitment has been shocking.
Ajeti, Barkus, Duffy, Klamala.
Cost us millions and all of them are pish.

Considering the investment Sevco have put in compared to other wee clubs, its inevitable they should win I'm intrigued by this comment I heard Rangers have been making quite a significant loss I guess any investor is hoping for a decent run in the Europa League and possibly Champions League next season - especially given the lack of matchday revenue which means the only way they're making any money this season is commercial and broadcast How does Rangers investment compare with Celtic's over the last couple of seasons? I found this article which sheds some light on the two clubs... www.footballinsider247.com/maguire-celtic-are-light-years-behind-rangers-due-to-tight-desmond/Players wages are normally the best indicator of how well a club should be doing. Usually the club with the highest wages comes top, second highest comes second etc etc So far as I can establish after searching - Celtic pay Β£54 million in wages and Rangers pay Β£43 million in wages - so Celtic definitely underperforming Those figures don't include bonuses... footballleaguefc.com/rangers-fc-player-wages/footballleaguefc.com/celtic-fc-player-wages/

I would say that the wage comparison link is tenuous if that's the criteria because it's more or less the same Celtic squad as last season.
Minus 2 quality keepers of course which is one of the main problems.
The huns might have a secret investor but they are running at a huge loss.
They obviously want to mimic Celtic's current business model so it was always going to be a gamble.
What they didn't bank on was Celtic's total collapse.
So all this nonsense that it was planned is a red herring.
Celtic's short sightedness in recruitment and lack of managerial ambition had made it easy for them.

celtic ive followed them all my life and this season has been one of the worst. over the last couple of seasons ive seen a big improvement in the rangers team. but for us to go for a record breaking 10 in a row and fall away the we have done is a crime.

Some older fans are saying that it was like watching Celtic pre-Stein OP. That's how bad they are. Even when the original Rangers club were dominant in the 90's the performances weren't as bad. My problem is that Lennon seems to think he can build the team around McGregor who he seems to think is Captain material. He is also playing him deeper in some sort of Brown role. I reckon he's trying to mould him into the type of player that Brown was and is once Broony retires. A grave error as McGregor is a good player but not a great one as he can't defend for shit. I'd drop him instantly. This all stems from Celtic's inability to get John McGinn who was a natural replacement for Brown but Lawwell didn't want to pay the going rate and this was the beginning of the end for Rodgers and Lawwell. Lennon sitting watching the match with his feet up whilst we're getting beat by the worst team in the league is completely unacceptable. John Hughes is no mug and set his team up brilliantly as we played one up front?!

Think he 's talking about rebuilding for next season OP.
A lot of Celtic fans are going nuts online about it.
They want him to walk now.

About time.
As long as they don't compound the error by appointing another diddy.

Be interesting to see if they have someone waiting in the wings. You'd hope so. They've had enough time to identify and recruit a replacement.

Absolutely, it had better not be the racist John Terry as some people have suggested.
