Shane's settled in then....
Allegedly part of the reason Potter wanted rid was because of the drinking
Still goals and great defending means Celtic won't be complaining....

I thought they were shocking today OP.
No urgency and hunger in the play, just as well Griffiths was on the bench🙄

Celtic depleted by Covid and a huge furure leading up to the game about people travelling to see it etc.
However, Celtic have a good squad with an very average manager and Sevco have been getting closer over the last 2 games so it'll be an interesting match in a deserted Paradise.
However, the huns appear to be over confident and with even with their biggest fan John Beaton in charge as the ref I'm still going for Celtic to shade it 2-1.

Another of those depressing, horrendous and harrowing reads about historical sexual abuse... 'I have been quiet for 50 years': standing up against sexual abuse at Celtic Boys Club 21 of survivors are bringing a civil case against the club, which will be heard next year. The litigants include at least one prominent ex-Celtic player, and former professional players for other Scottish Premiership sides and Scotland’s national team. They are seeking damages from the parent club, which they claim had “corporate responsibility” for child grooming, assaults and rape by men with longstanding connections to Celtic Park. The survivors and their families believe the leadership of the club knew about the abuse and did nothing about it. They also allege that Torbett was dismissed from the Boys Club in 1974 following accusations of abuse, but was allowed back into the club after four years, where he continued to work with young boys.www.theguardian.com/news/2020/oct/20/child-sexual-abuse-at-celtic-boys-club-jim-torbett

I personally will always stand by the survivors regardless of who they are and who the perpetrators are.
There seems to be a myth that the majority of Celtic supporters don't support the survivors. On the contrary most people I know do.
Unfortunately, people want to sectarianise the abuse which says a lot about how they view the victims.
Warped.

Too true. You can only have sympathy for people who were abused when they were kids. Their lives ruined by the despicable behaviour of people in positions of trust and authority. It could have been any of us.

Celtic were doing well but Lennon has made a c### of it again.
Our keeper is as slow as a long weekend in the cells.

Duffy has been shocking since he joined!
Shocking.
Him and Barkus. Lawwell must have been having a wee toot when he bought these jokers but thankfully Duffy is on loan.
He's unfit, slow and has no positional intelligence.
However, for the penalty last night, it WAS outside the box but he should be more aware.

not looking very good for the 10 in a row. we look like nothing. yes that bad. We have only ourselves to blame OP. Most of the Celtic support want to see Leigh Griffiths start but Lennon isn't interested. The huns are on a roll just now, which to their credit, is because Gerrard seems to be learning from his mistakes when Lennon isn't.

It definitely suited Brighton who have a lot of central defenders
Shane is also a drinker - and Albion manager GP wanted to rid the club of that culture
More significantly Albion now play out from the back and are a possession heavy team. Shane is not much of a ball player. He's an old school defender. Great at blocking and heading but not so good at ball control and accurate passing.
In the right system he's great - sitting deep, absorbing attacks but he's not a pacey modern defender.
Why do you ask? Is he not working out?
I don't really know how Celtic play but guess given their total domestic dominance teams sit deep and try to catch you on the break. That might not suit Shane - he's better sitting deep. Lennon would have known that though when he signed him, so must have felt he'd fit your system
By the by, I was much sadder to see Connor Goldson go than Shane Duffy. I like both players but Connor was really talented. Sadly there were better defenders in front of him and he wanted regular football.
