Sheff Utd v Boro was always going to be interesting - the two most upwardly mobile teams (plus Forest) in a head to head Was quite surprised at the resounding nature of the Blades 4 - 1 win Nightmare return for Chris Wilder Gibbs-White goal was wonderful www.mfc.co.uk/news/match-report-sheffield-united-4-boro-1

Apart from Fulham, all the other automatic spots and play offs will go down to the wire, it's so topsy turvy. Forest went to Bramall Lane on Friday and got a point, should have had all three, missed pen, hit the woodwork twice. Yet I would say Boro are marginally better than us but the Blades stuffed them.Nothing is predictable in the top half of the league.

Yep Very unpredictable I fancy Boro, Blades and Forest to all be in the play offs but that does beg the question who is going to miss out? QPR seem to be on the slide Millwall are on a great run of form but can they sustain it? See also Luton Blackburn and Huddersfield are also doing v well but of the two, perhaps Blackburn might stutter a bit I can't see Preston, WBA, Cov, Blackpool or Stoke having enough I'm assuming Bournemouth will finish second but you never know

We have a great defence and keeper but score very few goals and have done wonders considering we have only about 14 players who can train at the moment given a huge injury list and we even have had to use a 15 year old schoolboy on the bench for the last few months. Would be nice for the media to give us a bit more respect as we are about 20th in terms of funding and have punched well above our weight for the last 3 seasons and finished above teams that have paid a single player a weekly wage comparable to our whole starting line up, but we are used to only ever hitting the headlines when it's something to bash us with. The only way for the Championship to have a level playing field is to sort out the ridiculous levels of "parachute payments" which create a greatly unfair division and encourages crazy spending as in the Reading case.

I agree Doug A remarkably well run club who do, sadly, only get exposure when the negative stuff rears its ugly head Is it still a bit of scary place to visit though? I've not been for about 10 years

I've not been for about 10 years Nah, we're sweethearts, don't believe the hype. The old place down the road used to scare the faint hearts though when they had to walk under the railway arches to get to us on a cold Tuesday night. Remember a story from Cloughie that he made his Forest team walk it to one evening match and said "now you won't be scared when you run out in front of them".

Learnt my lesson. Got to go down the non league pyramid before you risk drinking with away fans. I even got a mouthful from Maidstone fans once, so even that can be dodgy.

There's always a dozen or more arrests when Scarborough play Whitby in the Northern Premier League (tier 8), fucking pitiful really.
