What?! No knee jerk reactions! No rollercoaster from elation to despair in the space of two matches? Call yerself a supporter?

Every new manager is the second coming, the saviour of the club. Then you lose away, draw at home, your best player leaves. Meh.

Or indeed you're all but guaranteed a play off finish and you squander the lead you've accrued by going on a disastrous end of season run and then, with the play offs still assured on the final game of the season, you conspire to concede enough goals to mean you finish outside the play offs.
Yep, that's gonna give your optimism levels a bit of hit.
Changing managers every 6 months doesn't help either
Still, I have first hand experience of Chrissie H and if he's given a bit of time and support he should get you challenging

Boro going great under Warnock.
It's chalk and cheese compared with last season
He really does know what he's doing at Champ level
You must be feeling quietly confident of play off places
Norwich starting to look as good as the last time they won it, Brentford should start climbing the table soon, Blackburn looking good, and obviously Bournmouth and Watford. Forest should start to climb too
It's v interesting

One of the best things about football when it happens...
Newport County goalkeeper Tom King scores from his goal kick

You couldn't do that in the pre- Premiership days as it was classed as an indirect kick. Seen them where goalkeepers have kicked from their hands but never from a dead ball.

I recall it happened twice in League Two in one season a few years back. League Two's the place for scoring from a goal kick

Staying up is priority now. Not making excuses but having (sometimes) 25000 people roar you on might have made the home results better. Forest supporters were fickle even under Clough, their opinions mean diddly.

Jason Tindell been sacked from Bournemouth after only 6 months. The Cherries in sixth place (but on a bad run). Feels a bit knee jerk to me but that's modern football for ya
