It's odd that they are miming to the full album version rather then the single of this song... complete with the extra bit on the end with the guitar loop in reverse. Hence Kirk smirking

Today i have been dipping into the T.O.H. album Retribution that slipped out almost unnoticed in 1996. No Saxaphone on this collection of songs and the Rockabilly guitar tones of their earlier work were ditched in favour of a raw, stabbing Punk attack, so it sounds more like The Pack in places...

That one totally passed me by Sounds as though it's got plenty to recommend it? Thanks Andy

...to be honest, that album probably passed EVERYBODY by, and to confuse matters further Kirk had another band in the mid 90s too, called Kirk 'Brandon's 10:51' who released an album the year before.
I think all of 'Retribution' is up on YouTube for you to make your own mind up as to it's quality.

Just figured out this week that the album by Kirk Brandon's 10:51 called "Stone In The Rain" (released in the UK in 1995) is the same album by Theatre Of Hate released a year later and called "Retribution" - looks like that was a US only release initially. I guess Kirk soon released that it would get more attention globally under the TOH moniker

Saw Spear Of Destiny last night at the legendary Moles Club in Bath... technically you could say, this was the first time i have seen then in about 35+ years... but as some of the musicians also feature in the current line up of Theatre Of Hate (who i have seen in recent years) that's a bit of a misnomer.
Anyway... Pint-size Kirk was in fine voice as they rocked this small/intimate club... and a major bout of Chicken Dancing kicked off when they played 'Liberator' As i have mentioned already on this thread... i only really know the first two albums well... am i missing much beyond that?
The later albums sounded a bit too over produced and polished to me, back in the 80s They released a new album a few years back, which i will have to check out.

I enjoyed World Service and, to a lesser extent, Outland - although haven't listened to either for eons
I lost touch after that

...oh, if i had to choose between S.O.D. and The Pack, the latter wins
But despite going in a more commercial direction, S.O.D. recorded some sublime music...
