I dunno johnny. He's got a ridiculous array of talent at Chelsea and the league is wide open this year. If he can get a little run going, or build for next season, I can see him picking up some silverware

He may yet turn it round. He's got a great squad so just has to find the right blend. I donโt think so mate Yup. Old Roman doesn't mess about when it comes to perceived underperformance. You might be a club legend and a rookie manager but that cuts no ice. If Chelsea go on to finish top four or better with clear signs of improvement under Thomas Tuchel then Roman A is vindicated. Fat Frank, as a young English manager with mates in the media, got a relatively easy ride compared with other managers. In hindsight, Chelsea should never have appointed him, and he should never have accepted the role when it was clearly far too soon for him.

Theres talk of him coming to Celtic.
That would fit the tightfistedness of Lawwell.

I'm sure Celtic could do better than Lampard. You need experience and tactical awareness plus someone with a proven track record in Europe

Seems like Benitez might be getting lined up but we'll see.
He definitely has a pedigree.
Personally, I'd like to see Rodgers back but its never going to happen.
Thing is will any manager have real control?
Anyway, don't want to hijack your EPL thread.
I always thought Frank Lampard senior was a much better player than his boy by the way.

Benitez would be a massive coup. He really knows his onions.

I'd rather have him than this Eddie Howe guy.
Some Celtic fans are moaning that Benitez is too old!!(60).

LMAO Losing at home to Sheffield United. And just when Ole is being hailed as pretty good after all Ouch Man City might romp to the title now. Suits me. They are the only big club whose fans I have nothing against (apart from Arsenal, if they can still be called big!). I'd go so far as to say I actively like them.

BHAFC been overdue a win (or three) given some of the performances. Totally outplayed Spurs last night, spurned some gilt edged chances, thought it might be the same old story but, crucially, Albion scored a lovely team goal and then shut them out. Admittedly Spurs minus Kane were below par but it could easily have been three or four nil to Albion. Whilst it remained one nil though it was a very very tense listening experiencing. Loved watching MOTD2 where we got some proper Albion analysis and recognition. Liverpool mid week, and Burnley next weekend. Never gets any easier.
If Brighton can get 6 points out of these three games Iโll be delighted.

How did Arsenal lose to Wolves? Probably the best Arsenal performance of the season in the first half - adn Wolves are on a terrible run
How did David Luiz get sent off? Moaning about refs is boring but...
A very Arsenal game

Solid performance by Brighton, Liverpool looking weak at the moment.
