Saw them back in the day at Nottingham Bierkeller Hall with Gypie Mayo on guitar, high octane, sweaty R&B. Love their stuff but it's not really a sit back and listen music, so much so, their live album Stupidity is probably the best as it shows them at their height of powers.
They played up here a few weeks back but I had no intention of going as it's just a cash in band with not one of the original members.

Yeah I was thinking of going to see them just before lockdown.I’d seen them back in the day & they were great.I can’t remember how much the tickets were now but it was too much for what really is a tribute band.Anyway Dr Feelgood without Lee?Like the Stones without Mick.

Anyone know what they're like these days? With none of the original members

What a bargain - thanks Doug I'm holding back as I wonder whether I would ever listen to it though I love Stupidity, like Jetty, and of course all the early singles are brilliant Do I really need any more?

Even in 1987 Lee and whoever was backing him could turn out a classic single...

Wilko nad the Feelgoods were brilliant .

Guitarist, Gypie Mayo lived round here after he left the Feelgoods. I used to see him around town still sporting a feather cut, that had turned grey.
His guitaring tends to get over shadowed by Wilko, but i remember this 2 minute blast coming out in 77' and it fitted right in with Punk...

Dr.Feelgood - She Does It Right I've had a fair few Telecasters over the years. I always put a black pickguard on the black ones a la Wilko
