^^ Not as fabulous as I thought it was going to be. The look back on his life with talking heads like Billy Idol, Joe Elliot, Ringo and Elton is great and the original seventies footage is marvellous. The Bowie and Bolan painting the office reminsincence is laugh out loud funny.
But the constructing of the tribute album is a bit tiresome. Lots of unnecessary rereadings of his songs, why? They were brilliant then and still are today. Nick Cave slows down Cosmic Dancer, U2 murder Get It On, only Joan Jett seems to get it with a brilliant Jeepster.

Don't like the sound of a load of cover versions. I'll skip through that bit. Thanks for the viewer warning PU

I started watching this great opening and then fucking U2 show up, followed by Nick Cave, and it's all about the covers album
How to ruin a documentary

Watched most of Angel Headed Hipster now
Pretty enjoyable and some of those covers sound pretty good
Anyone going to bother with the album?
