Doesn't matter, no way we will rejoin the whole thing. we should be looking at swapping access to the customs union for freedom of movement though. The "ideological" Brexit we got was the worst of all worlds.

Since politics entered my world in the late 70's the Tories have been in power for at least 3/4 of this time. And look at the f***kin' mess they have made of this country.
But, that's what people voted for, so they get what they deserve.
Brexit not going well? You voted for it and let it happen......so tough luck.
NHS in crisis? What did you expect?
Public transport sh*t? Privatisation not worked out? Who'd have thought that!
If you consistently vote for a party that believes in stripping back the role of the state, then you can't expect anything else.
And the population of this country don't deserve a second chance. They've made their bed...and they can lie in it.
Rant over.

We can all blame these Red Wall fuckheads for Brexit and the election of this immoral quasi fascist right wing Tory government. Hell slap into the lot of these bellends.👍

That he believed the UK should have remained in the EU. Now he's appropriated the Tories own Brexit slogan and rejiggled it with a load of vague pish. Utter charlatan and liar.

Of course he still believes the decision to leave the EU was a mistake
Is it the right time, politically, to campaign on a manifesto pledge to request re-entry? Probably not
What does he do in the meantime? Try to make the best of a shit decision

This clown campaigned to have a second Brexit referendum then when he gets a sniff of power, he changes his mind completely😄
As someone who has argued with right wing Tories on here about Brexit for years, you suddenly backflip and somersault to 'Let's get Brexit done and 'Make Brexit Work'.
The mess that Brexit is won't work at all despite the nonsense that Starmer comes out with. The only reason he's doing this is to appease the racism of these Red Wall arseholes.
He'll say anything to get elected and then administer the same Tory policies.
You might argue he won't but I haven't been wrong yet about him and New Labour.
Incidently, this is a majority viewpoint in Scotland. Perhaps, you should try and educate yourself as to the reasons why it is?

No backflipping, flip flopping or any other gymnastic routine
Leaving the EU was a mistake
I want back in ASAP
Also recognise that the next election is probably not the time to be reopening the Brexit wound - there's plenty more to be getting on with
You think theres no difference between Tories and Labour, I get that
You're wrong of course, there's some big differences but let's agree to differ on that one
We clear now?

Not really. If you think that voting Labour will get the UK into the EU again then you're seriously deluded, now ,4 years or at any time.
On the contrary, their job is to copper-fasten it regardless of the chaos and isolation it'll leave the UK in.
This is why Starmers pro-Brexit views have no writ or mileage in Scotland or the North of Ireland.
His(and yours)is an extremist minority view in these countries.

That's quite a stretch rogue
If one thing is now blindingly obvious it's that Brexit has been a disaster
How would anyone who foresaw this, and campaigned against it, suddenly be persuaded it's a good thing?
And that's totally different from recognising that the next election is probably not the time to be reopening the Brexit wound - there's plenty more to be getting on with

If not now, when?
People in Scotland recognised that Brexit would be a disaster which is why nearly three quarters of voters opposed it.
The problem is that Starmer will also alienate even his own voters to grovel to the racists of the Red Wall.
He hasn't a coherent and decent message at all.
Thank fuck we have a way out with independence. All I can see for England is more chaos, more division and more poverty as both sets of Tories fight over the right to shaft our services and workers themselves.
Horrible future for anyone.

^My hostility against the Labour Party isn't part of an abstract argument because 'I don't like Labour'.
It's political and economic necessity. Their role has ALWAYS been to uphold the British State.
The 'permanency' of what we're seeing just now-the chaos of Brexit, attack on the living standards of the majority of working class people, the destruction of the NHS and the extermination of sections of the poor are no accident.
It's the end result of the neo-liberal agenda. Mass privatisation of whatever is left of public services and the destruction of the Trade Union movement.
Why else have a lot of Trade Unions not affiliated or disaffiliated from New Labour.?
They know they are sleeping with the enemy.
As for voting. You can vote for New Labour but nothing will change, if elected they will pause the above and then continue.
The so called Labour Movement has to split into left and right. If the Labour Left don't they're on borrowed time. This has been accelerated ever since the gangsters who ousted Corbyn have taken control of the party.
The left Labour party would do better in an English parliament against New Labour and the Tories than they would just now. Much in the same way a radical socialist party would in an independent Scotland.
In the meantime-resist these Tory bastards in anyway you can, strike if you can, do work in the community, anything...as things are going to get a lot worse.
