Re-reading George's book. Still a good read after all these years.
A lot of water under the bridge too as the world has moved on.
However, still good to read about how the Crass logo was designed by Dave King, who sadly died last year.
Well worth rediscovering.

George appeared in the previous incarnation of Talkpunk to plug his book. I bought it as a result of this and have read it on a number of occasions, though not for a few years.
George's book is a far more entertaining and enjoyable read than Penny Rimbaud's autobiography, which gets bogged down in his agonising over the pros and cons of "Anarchy".
I don't know if George has any other books published but I'd certainly consider reading them if he has.

In some ways he's a bit of a life guru and I don't mean that in a bad way as he makes you think. Despite being from a well off family I've never, ever detected anything condescending or snooty about Rimbaud. He will always stand up for the underdog and make you think of who and what you are as a person which I find fascinating. Steve Ignorant's book is far more accessible and George's book about Crass finally gave them a voice as too many people in the 'music business'tried to pretend they didn't exist which proves they were doing something right.

I remember Ian Glasper when he was the bassist for a punk band called Decadence Within. His nickname was 'Slug'.😎

Seeing as I never read the book I wouldn't know either.
Is Zeo pulling our chain, can anyone confirm this story?

I was happily reading that book and the came the tossing off of his dying father. Completely out of kilter with what had gone before. Can't accuse Rimbaud of leaving stuff out I suppose.

Flipping heck. So many questions. Why did his dad request this service? How readily did PR agree? How awkward was the aftermath? Were there medical staff around?
