BBC 4 I player now. The Reid Brothers came in my shop many moons ago and bought a shedload of obscure Scottish Folk, so I always warm to them . Decent doc as the pair are interviewed by David Tenant with contributions from Kevin Rowland, Edwyn Collins, Paul Heaton, KT Tunstall and even wee Jimmy Krankie of the SNP makes a noise about them. Never realised they were such Scottish Nationalist firebrands, just listened to Cap In Hand, a real call to arms.

Thanks PU - will give that a watch
I'm a sucker for the Sunshine on Leith musical film, being a sentimental type this gets me every time...
500 Miles - Sunshine on Leith
In 1987, two brothers from Auctermuchty in Fife released an album called This Is the Story. Featuring songs such as Letter from America, the album propelled The Proclaimers and the Scottish accent into the charts.
Superfan David Tennant talks to Craig and Charlie Reid about 30 years in the business which has taken them from playing small pubs and clubs across Scotland to become one of the nation's most iconic bands.

Seriously though 'Sunshine on Leith' is a great album but 'This is the Story' is better.
I'm not really a fan of this type of Scottish music either but they're got great voices.
