Got to admit I prefer songs sung in English. If it’s in a foreign language it has to be a great tune to hold my interest. Try this C'est aussi une bonne chanson J'adore Starshooter

I was(and still am)a big admirer of Polish punk from the 80's Rogue, do you mind if we change the title of this thread to European Punk? We're gone beyond just Polish now

Yes, was thinking the same myself however as long as hardcore is also added as the impact that European bands made on world punk is significant.

i only know the early recordings by Starshooter Nigey... i think they went alot more commercial into the 80s 'New Wave' rather than Punk.
The Euro Punk band i was heavily smitten by in that era into the 90s was Die Toten Hosen, who, from humble beginnings in the Dusseldorf Punk scene, went on to become one of the biggest bands from Germany. They have played enormo stadiums there for the last 25 years. Back in the 90s they used to come over here and play small clubs just for the fun of it.
I have quite a collection of their early stuff, but lost interest somewhat as their music became more like 'Arena Rock' I still have alot of affection for their early records though. My dear old Mum even translated their lyrics for me, including this...

Thanks Andy - I'll have a delve into their catalogue The Euro Punk band i was heavily smitten by in that era into the 90s was Die Toten Hosen, who, from humble beginnings in the Dusseldorf Punk scene, went on to become one of the biggest bands from Germany. I have quite a collection of their early stuff, but lost interest somewhat as their music became more like 'Arena Rock' I still have alot of affection for their early records though. I like what I've heard by Die Toten Hosen They seem like really sound individuals too

...at various times, i've briefly spoken to various members of the band, vocalist Campino was particularly friendly and grounded quite something considering they are major 'Rock Stars' in Germany.
This is a song they sing in english that their good friend TV Smith (he wrote the lyrics) includes in his set alot...

Métal Urbain had their own unique sound. Two guitars, no drummer, no bass, electronic beats... Killer riffs... they sounded like an angry ticking timebomb
This song from their album Les Hommes Mort Sont Dangereux was released as a single too - great Rockabilly guitar licks on this...
