Looks good The riots quickly spread to other parts of London and then other parts of the UK I remember a guy at my college taking orders the day of the Wood Green riot a day or two later - TVs, cassette players etc. Incredible.

Looks good The riots quickly spread to other parts of London and then other parts of the UK I remember a guy at my college taking orders the day of the Wood Green riot a day or two later - TVs, cassette players etc. Incredible. I remember a Granada news report late one night detailing the areas of Manchester where disorder was breaking out. Including Longsight, Rusholme, Hulme and of course Moss Side. A few days later we had people selling stuff door to door, presumably looted. I think generally these riots were genuinely political though.

I haven't mentioned Chart Music I don't think Al Needham and a couple of ex-Melody Maker journos dissect an old episode of Top of the Pops Each episode goes on for about five hours Can't possibly be good? Wrong. It's genius The 70s episodes are by far and away the best. Occasionally they do a 90s one which I skip having learned it's just less interesting

I love The Curiously Specific Book Club Taking a book for a walk… and a lot more Each month we road test a work of fiction that appears to be curiously specific about dates and locations. We go to the places mentioned and see if descriptions are accurate, journey times credible, dates and days all in order. Along the way, we learn things, about the book, and its author.curiouslyspecific.com/
