My friendly local Dorothy House had a batch of 10 classic Madness singles from 1979 to 82 come in over the weekend, the price ranged from £1 to £4... a bargain i thought, so i bought the lot.

In 1981 the Nutty Boys were so popular that this single reached number 7 in the UK and remained in the charts for 11 weeks
It's really nothing special and yet....

The Bed and Breakfast Man, an early vid before the boys started getting inventive and humourous
It's about their first manager John Hassler who was always dossing at band member's flats and houses
Wonder what he does now?

Seeing as the Queen has made a new Jubilee Bank Holiday this year on June 2nd we thought we’d take advantage and throw a proper all day party at Brockwell Park, Brixton.
We’re calling it JUBILATION! And it’s our only London show this year…Queen's Jubilee party eh? Much as I like Suggs and Co it has to be said their audience is v Brexity Expect union flags and a v tradional vibe
