Only last week the cops escorted the Ibrox hordes into Glasgow City Centre where they proceeded to wreck George Square.
Mob rule overseen by Glasgow's finest. Mostly men urinating everywhere and one was even caught wanking.
I think Reclaim the Streets pointed out this 'disparity'in policing the other night.

Priti Patel up to her old tricks again... Though the police are operationally independent, the home secretary had made her views clear, which made her criticisms of the way officers broke up the Clapham event particularly galling, according to some police chiefs who spoke to the Guardian.
As a result, some chiefs feel policing was “hung out to dry” when Patel criticised pictures of officers manhandling women at the vigil, rebuked the Met commissioner and ordered an inquiry.
One chief constable said the message from Patel and the government before the vigil had been clear, that a ban on gatherings had to be enforced.
Tensions are now running high between police and ministers. They certainly are Couzens tricked Sarah Everard into entering his car using his police warrant card and arresting her under the guise of the coronavirus restrictions. The Independent Office for Police Conduct has launched a probe into allegations the Metropolitan Police failed to adequately investigate allegations of indecent exposure brought against Couzens, while so far, 12 notices of misconduct or gross misconduct have been served on police officers relating to the Couzens case. The general pattern of men killing women is that the perpetrator already has a history of sexual offences in a high number of cases, or a pattern of online activity, whether in reading extremist material or consuming violent pornography. Despite this the British government still doesn’t have a serious strategy as far as violence against women and girls is concerned. Many more women will experience domestic violence and many more women will be killed as a result of male violence than men will be killed by knife crime: yet the joined-up strategies to tackle knife crime at a Whitehall and police level are far in advance of strategies to tackle violence against women and girls. The murder of Sarah Everard is the story of two long-running problems in British politics: the failure to take violence against women and girls seriously, and the failure by senior leaders in too many of the United Kingdom’s police forces to acknowledge mistakes as things that need to be learnt from rather than unfortunate and unavoidable accidents. |
