A load of nineties and noughties punk singles just come in, decent stuff, however this one just jumped out at me. Seventies UK sound though they formed in mid nineties California. Once played Rebellion apparently but that's all I know. Great punk all the same. Edit, reminiscent of The Spitfire Boys.

I am a Stitches devotee and have pretty much all their records... many i bought back in the 90s direct from their lead singer Mike Lohrman in L.A. when sending 'well concealed cash' and low airmail postage costs were the norm.
Yes, they played Rebellion on their one and only UK Tour... i saw them in London that year.

There's another one of theirs in the job lot, red vinyl double A side titled Two New Cuts. Bit more thrashy and slightly lo fi but still punktastic.

Last weekend i made a pilgrimage upto London to see The Stitches, almost exactly 10 years since they were last here. They played a cool club in Finsbury Park called The Night Owl that is new to me, and despite Rebellion being in full flow, a good crowd showed up to rock with them. I spoke to all of them before and after their set, but mostly spoke to Michael, their vocalist as we have known each other a long time, (almost 30 years) but never actually met so the conversation flowed. He's a really friendly guy. It was a great gig... like a secret party. Michael told me he prefered playing gigs like that, than Festivals. They were staying at the same Hotel as me, so i got up early the next day, nursing a hangover to wish them well and say goodbye as they headed to Blackpool.
