I didn't realise they were still going and had assumed Gill's death meant the end of the group too Presumably there's no original members now? Ha, no, Just checked. Apparently... Jon King and Hugo Burnham reunited in 2022 with Sara Lee, who joined the band in 1981 and recorded on their third and fourth albums "Songs of the Free" and "Hard", and joined on guitar by David Pajo of Slint. The band toured the US in March 2022 in support of the 77-81 box set, which won a Grammy Nomination. In January 2023, a US show was announced: the band will play at the Cruel World Festival in Pasadena, California on May 20, 2023 Wow. How did I miss that? I'm guessing they'd all fallen out with Andy Gill but still get on with each other fine Hard to imagine them without Gill's guitar though |

Yeah they fell out when Gill went out on his own as Gang Of Four. They didn't reconcile unfortunately.

I really enjoyed them, but thought that with Andy's death that would be it. I came across the Jon King/Hugo Burnham version via Instagram. Hope they play the UK at some point. |

Yeah , be good to see them live again just so long as whoevers on guitar can play like Andy Gill .
