I don't remember him at Chelsea at all. They were probably in the second division at the time Although the documentary was a laugh for viewers it seems to have seriously affected his life negatively Nowadays he'd probably be sued or shamed as a bully which I have mixed feelings about - believe it or not not every player gives 100% in every game

That's why Sitton achieved fuck all. Clough was old school but even he wouldn't call the likes of Kenny Burns or Stuart Pearce a cunt or any other player for that matter. Sitton was a retarded bully, playing up for the camera.

I'd still be interested to read the book
He's a taxi driver now in London and is very anti-Khan. Nuff said eh.

He reckons the doc did him a disservice If you listen to him now, reflecting on it, I think there's a lot more too it than meets the eye To my amazement he comes across pretty well in this... There's two other interviews in addition to this one which is part three I got sucked into it Not sure he and I would see eye to eye on much but he's a more interesting and self aware character than I would have expected from the doc

Couldn’t cut it as a manager and his rants make that quite clear, all mouth but nothing to say that could improve his team’s performances.

There was a great QPR documentary when the F1 guy got involved and was quite staggering in the lack of football knowledge by these chancers who buy into clubs, think it may be this one, quite jaw dropping at times....

Absolutely superb read the Simon Kuper book. Chapters on the Old Firm rivalry , the Germany - Holland rivalry, football politics in the Balkans, East German football among others.

I love a social-political aspect to a football book. I would recommended all the Celtic Minded books if you can get them now. Anything also by the Eastern European Army teams of old like Red Star Belgrade etc

Mark Hodkinson's book about Rochdale FC is apparently very good. I must get round to reading it.
Mark did the brilliant novel Last Mad Surge of Youth.
