UNCUT magazine have just published a huge Q&A with Pete Townsend to tie in with the release of a huge Box-set of the The Who Sell Out sessions.
There were some great songs that got left off the original album

^ Could be. But McDonald (Gunston) was very good at ad hoc responses. He also did get into some dangerous situations, such as the time he infuriated a sumo wrestler

Wonder if anyone ever actually listens to the entire five-CD, two 7-inch super-deluxe format of The Who Sell Out Surely the double CD is all anyone needs and, even then, probably just the original LP would suffice - which I really like by the way The Who Sell Out Super Deluxe Edition is yours for just £80....
