I think its the most popular show since Breaking Bad.
It is strangely addictive even though it is utter tosh.
Good performances by Andrew Lincoln and especially Norman Reedus.

Ah yes. I remember now
I just checked and it's on Star, a branch of Disney Plus, which is something I don't have and can't seem me getting
Your description makes it sound vaguely tempting but with so many other programmes and series, plus limited time, make it unlikely I'll ever partake

Aye, its pretty extensive. I partly had the time due to isolating. Also, curiosity too.
Why is this so popular?

It's not so much the Zombies, it's pure escapism.
Without giving too much away some of the storylines are actually quite preposterous even for the Zombie Apocalypse.
There's some subtle satire about US life too, especially Southern life(it's set in Georgia)

To be honest I hadn't seen him in anything since 'Teachers' which was years ago.
He's very intense in this. A great actor👍

Tried it for a couple of episodes.
I've also tried the Sopranos, the Shield , Donovan and Man In the High Castle (which is pretty good) but nothing comes close to Breaking Bad for me.

Breaking Bad was superb - one of the best But so were... The Sopranos Better Call Saul Fargo True Detective Homicide The Shield ...and the best one ever ever ever... The Wire

I watch it although haven't started the latest series yet. There is no real threat anymore as the "dead" seem merely to be a backdrop to what has become more and more an apocalypse style soap opera. And why don't these people go anywhere? They seem to have stayed geographically in the same area for the whole run. And the geezer on the motorbike has a non stop supply of petrol he could do with sharing around. Mind you, it's fairly entertaining tripe so it's somewhat churlish to find fault in it.

Loved the first few seasons.Thought it went off a bit, then came back to life with Negan.Got a bit bored with it again now.The zombie killings can become a little monotonous.

An endless supply of bullets too. Some of the gun battles are like the A Team in the 80's.

The Negan character is hilarious. It's a pity because that actor was brilliant in 'Watchmen'. The worst characters have to be the Scrapyard people.😂😂😂
