Thinking about this film last night for whatever reason and it baffles me how simplistic and weak it ended up being. The only differences apparently in a world where dishonesty doesn’t exist is that people are sharper with each other, adverts aren’t very nice and religion doesn’t exist lol?

I quite like a few of the things Ricky has done, I don’t think saying DFW’s take on an absurd reality would be better than Ricky’s is a harsh criticism. Tbf, Ricky’s film output has been mostly terrible as well. Corden is also shite lol! |

I didn't realise DFW had also turned his hand to screenwriting - ya learn something every day
And, as mentioned elsewhere, I've yet to read any of his books. One day...
