I still haven't got round to most of them yet, out of what I've read, Richard Thompson's was the best. Can't see anything coming close to last years Mark Lanegan's "Sing Backwards And Weep" and the astonishing "Blood: A Memoir" by Allison Moorer and it's accompanying album from 2019. www.amazon.co.uk/Blood-Memoir-Allison-Moorer/dp/0306922681 |
