I followed them a bit, 83-85 ish.
The only tune I remember by them is 'Vengeance' (?) with a line in the chorus about 'Getting the bastards'

Don't think they ever bettered this early gem.

New Model Army - Unbroken January just ending and this already my contender for album of the year. They've ditched the soundscapes of the early noughties and teens and are back to their solid rock of near forty years ago. Sullivan's in fine voice and his lyrics are as coruscating and topical as ever. CD comes in book form with Joolz Denby illustrations. Been listening to this for the last couple of days. While I don't think it contains one or two tracks with the immediacy previous albums have had it's an album that's growing on me. I agree that lyrically and vocally Justin is on fine form. From track 3, Reload: If I have to see another fucking Union Jack Flying on the orders of the government, I'm going to be sick The favourite colours of the heirs of the slavers Taking everything and stashing it away in a pretty little Caribbean island
It's been about 6 years since I last saw them so looking forward to the Southampton gig in April. And if you've not checked out Sinfonia, either the video or just audio, you're in for a treat. Really enjoying Unbroken Thanks for the top tip
