In the run up to Christmas i got hooked on watching this. With ten episodes at nearly an hour each, it's quite the epic tale and demanding, but well worth it, i decided. I remember all the scandal in the late 90s, and... of course all the tabloid furore due to naughty old Bill's... legendary... umm... 'semen-al moment' but never knew the complete back story of all the political shenanigans and most important of all, the deep relationship between Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp. All the key actors in this turn in great performances, particularly Sarah Paulson who, i hope got a tonnage of awards for a STUNNING portrayal of Linda Tripp.

I didn't bother with this although it's the kind of thing I'd normally be very interested in.
Although I did watch something on the 'Clinton body count' recently.

It was screened every Tuesday and i got hooked - i remember back then how Bill Clinton seemed to survive all manner of scandals during his Presidency, but found this dramatisation a fascinating flashback to the Political turmoil of the 90s. How much of this is artistic licence i don't know, but i guess for legal reasons they had to tread carefully.
Edie Falco is brilliant as Hillary Clinton, it's the females who are the key characters in this story.

I don't know the full story I just assumed it was some kind of blackmail op. If anything, it appears that it was more a case of Lewinsky being Blackmailed and lied to by the F.B.I. if this dramatisation is accurate.
