Matt Berry returns to his role as the eponymous pompous, talent lite actor. Now relocated to LA full of short attention span directors and actors. Two episodes in and though snortingly funny in places, it's not quite on a par with the original Channel 4 series.
BBC I player now.

Yes, started watching this but only about 20 minutes into the first episode
I'm a big Berry fan so could happily watch him do anything
What We Do In The Shadows (also on iPlayer) is superb
By the way, iPlayer have all the orginal Channel 4 Toast stuff too
Finally, the Toast book is wonderful too

Gotta say I'm loving this
Doon Mackichan playing both Toast's UK and US agents is brilliant - especially in her Brooke Hooberman role
Natashia Demetriou as Carmen had me crying with laughter. What an intro...

Yes, the medical drama episode was brilliant. There is a difference between the C4 series and this exemplified by the Carmen character. Formerly, Toast was as incompetent and vain as his peers, in LA he can only look on with incredulity as the madness around him unfolds.

Great way of distinguishing this new series PU The relocation is just the shot in the arm the series needed

Love Toast, but found this series a bit disappointing other than the 1st and 5th episodes. I just think he is better in London. They do the Colony club brilliant in the first episode.

" Hello, Steven. This is Clem Fandango, can you hear me?"
Must now be in the pantheon of classic catchphrases.

Available on a t shirt near you
I'm tempted to rewatch this series - so much to enjoy and appreciate, not least the names of the Hollywood types
