Meanwhile in Brighton there's been a good 10,000 marchers out for today's BLM event all really good natured and well behaved
About 30 "patriots" guarding the war memorial who have had minor scuffles with police

I'm at home having an afternoon of Bundesliga. My mate went to a BLM demo of about fifty people at the Scarborough town hall. No trouble except some local pisshead who had nothing to do with the protest drew a cock on the Queen Victoria plinth. The local newspapers will have a field day with this.

We had a large Black Lives Matter demonstration here – about 1,500 people, all masked, all socially distanced and all very well behaved.
The irony is that we don't even have 1,500 black people here. I'm not sure we even have 150 (if we're limiting the term "black" to Afro-Caribbeans).
One of the black people we do have is a friend of mine, and he I suspect he wouldn't be a supporter of the movement – he told me he moved from London because there were too many black people there, describing it as "a multicultural hellhole" with "all these minority groups constantly jockeying for position and attention".
As such, the march consisted of a large quantity of white people marching for the rights of a small number of black people, one of whom thinks minorities have too many rights and too much attention already. You couldn't make it up.

The loyalists were out in Glasgow yesterday'guarding'the Cenotaph even though no one threatened it.
