It's Rock n Roll weekend at the Scarborough Spa Complex, so I'm going for an unrepentant cash in.... Are you going along? I'm trying to get my head round what that would be like to attend? And who goes? 70s teds?

And who goes? 70s teds? Not for me. Some old Teds and some of the 80s Rockabilly crew, Matchbox, Stray Cats etc. Don't think Meteors fans would be seen dead there though.

Sounds pretty grim - though I suppose tapping a toe to some of the groups, or having a jive, would be OK if you love the music
I don't really get those who cling to their youthful choices into old age

Hmm,will Rebellion fall into that way of thinking? Eventually there's going to be a dearth of headliners for punk festivals. Will we eventually see covers punk bands like the Ramonas or Sex Pistols Experience being on top of the bill?

Presumably the Rebellion audience and headliners will all die off at around the same time

Lord Ems was talking about songs about rain sometime ago. Made me think. First up Wreckless Eric then some Oz ones
Go-Betweens - Spring Rain
Flash and the Pan - Walking in the Rain [also done by Grace Jones]
The Angels - After the Rain
The Leprechauns - Rain [1960s kids band; not bad but really just a novelty]
