Good choices Rogue, seen the Subs more times than I can remember, always a good night out.
I'll weigh in with my top ten over the next day or two.

Cool👍its difficult but I'm trying to not go for the obvious.
It would probably change if I did another top ten😀
Even though I love 'Another Kind of Blues'recently I've started liking the later stuff more.

Incidently I saw the Subs for the first time in 1982 and I'd never seen anything like Nicky Garrett ever.
Leaping off amp stacks etc.
No wonder the early American hardcore pioneers liked the Subs so much.

OK, straight off the cuff and in no particular order, here's ten from the early Subs that do it for me. There's so much to chose from, I'll probably have changed my mind by the time I hit the button...

I love all of them but as I said tried to be a bit different.
'The Samething' is just a classic late 70's punk song isn't it?

^ Yeah, there's so much to chose from, I've heard a lot of their later stuff, mostly live when I've seen them. I'll have to revisit their entire catalogue now

3.She's Not There.
Released on green vinyl and I still play my original copy to death even now 41 years later.
The only vocal outing by bassist Paul Slack of this Zombies classic.
One of the great punk singles.

One of the great punk singles. Saw them with Paul on bass in March 2010, needless to say She's Not There was on the set list

Was that with all of the 'classic' Subs line up?
Sounds great. That TOTP performance is indelible. I rushed out and bought the single first thing the next day which meant I was late for school but didn't care😀

Jet was on guitar and Jamie on drums but to see Paul was a treat all the same.
Lol, late for school, I like it. I remember going on holiday to Brighton and picking up Stranglehold on red vinyl, I also bought Harmony In My Head, Death Disco and Playground Twist. Funny what you remember isn't it?
