Through a chat i was having online about a week ago, i discovered all 44 episodes of this classic ATV drama have been put onto YouTube, so i have been slowly digging in to enjoy them, having not seen them for over 45 years. My brother and i used to watch them when they were first shown around 1973/74 ...and although the plots tend to 'creak' a bit, they have aged well. As a kid, i was quite the car nerd, so the one i always remember most vividly is called 'ONE DEADLY OWNER' about a rather sinister white Rolls Royce. When we were kids, the theme music by Laurie Johnson used to scare the crap out of us!

I have the box set , I think one of the actors who is murdered in it was murdered in real life a few years later.

I do remember the Someone At The Top Of The Stairs episode, very chilling. Sometimes they were ghostly and sometimes straight forward crime tales. All the Brit actors of the time would have a run out even Bob Holness of Blockbuster fame had a cameo.

Dennis Waterman and John Le Mesurier have also starred in this series. I have been 'treating' myself to one episode per day.
