Last night just before Steve Ignorant came on in Manchester an absolutely fantastic sounding song was played and I haven't got a clue what it is.
60s /70s sounding . Rocky , funky. Only lyrics I could make out were 'put your hands together ' or similar . It's not the O Jays song of that name.
I've been trying to find out what it was with no success. Waiting to hear back from Steve himself on Facebook but I'm assuming that the music beforehand wasn't chosen by the band but the venue DJ.
