In fairness, there was a little more to it than that. This was discussed extensively in a Facebook music group of which I'm a member. The woman unwittingly listed a bootleg CD for sale on eBay. Clapton's legal team sent her a letter asking her to remove it. The usual response to such a letter is along the lines of "Sorry pal, didn't realise it was a boot. I'll take it down now and won't offer it again." That would have been the end of the matter. The woman, however, sent a reply essentially saying "I won't take it down. Go ahead and sue me if you don't like it." They went ahead and sued her. |

I used to get free tickets for gigs at The Royal Albert Hall. Clapton is to this day the only gig I've ever walked out of. So boring, utterly "phoned in" performance dragging out the usual "special guests" Phil Collins and Mark Knopfler, couldn't believe how a blues musician could do a gig so utterly lacking in any soulfulness.
