Anyone seen any of the trial?
Most people seem to be convinced that Heard is lying about the violence.
They don't want to believe Depp is a wife beater.
I really don't know what to think. She seems quite believable . Maybe I've led a sheltered life and am not up to speed on how devious some liars are. I don't know what she gains from lying about him. Perhaps she just hates him for being a crap husband.
I've seen a trial where two people quite convincingly accused a man of serious sexual abuse and the jury didn't buy it

The entire media is biased against Heard it seems. Perhaps they've seen that the public hates her and have decided to go with the flow, not wanting to alienate Depp in case the jury decides in his favour.
I watched Depp's cross examination from Wednesday last night. A text that came from his phone with an extremely derogatory and X rated description of Heard was read out. He denied writing it and said someone must have used his phone. I don't believe this for one second.

Couldn’t care less and I’ve noticed alt-right reactionaries really pushing the narrative as well, from what little I’ve seen neither of these people are coming off well at all

I think Depp will win this. I don't understand how he lost the London case. But I'm not totally convinced she's lying.

I haven't watched any of it nor am I interested but a woman I work with has been giving me a running commentary on it every day.
Mind you she also gives me a running commentary on Married at First Sight-Australia and Home and Away🤨

This is well worth watching as an example of how highly skilled top lawyers are.
They all deliver very convincing arguments. After the first Depp lawyer's speech I really didn't think she had a chance, now I'm not so sure.
Depp is well pissed off during the first Heard lawyer's speech, that's obvious. He frames verbal abuse as abuse and also scores points describing Depp's questionable treatment of a dog, which I think will really anger some of the jurors.
