Started watching this last night I was after something German Pretty good based on one episode Dogs of Berlin features Felix Kramer and Fahri Yardim as two unconventional cops who are taking up the fight against crime in Berlin’s underworld. The impressive German cast list also includes Katharina Schüttler, Anna Maria Mühe, Katrin Sass, Hannah Herzsprung, Antonio Wannek, Mišel Matičević, Jasna Fritzi Bauer and Constantin von Jascheroff.

Seen first episode and a bit of the second. Seems OK. I'm halfway through the second and thoroughly enjoying it Lot of plot strands but they all seem quite interesting

Just couldn't get on with it. The opening scene with the gambling addicted cop commandeering the two rookies at the murder scene was just too implausible and it carried on in that vein too long for me.

Just couldn't get on with it. The opening scene with the gambling addicted cop commandeering the two rookies at the murder scene was just too implausible and it carried on in that vein too long for me. I'm now on episode three The end of episode two, when lead investigator Kurt Grimmer gives the German team some earth shattering news just before they kick off in a WC qualifier, is even more extreme in the implausibility stakes. I'm sticking with it though for the Berlin context + it moves along at an entertaining pace with the various plotlines

Great news Stu - where you go I follow
I'm interested in the use of the Kanack - it's a slur for a Turk or person from the Middle East but, so far as I understand it, it has been reclaimed by those groups
Despite this it is also still used in a disparaging way by the Fascists and a few other characters
Is it "okay" for anyone to use Kanack?
Or is it now verbotten for anyone except the people in the group who have reclaimed it?

I'm on episode 9. This is hugely enjoyable.
Like LE says one or two implausible aspects. I'm amazed I'd not heard of this series given it's several years old. Another series on the way I understand.

I’m now on episode six and loving it. Totally implausible but very compelling
