Game of Thrones has to be the biggest heap of shite I've ever seen. I see there's a prequel or sequel now which promises to be even worse.
Like 'The Walking Dead' they just continuously rip the arse out of it.
That's modern telly for you.😕

Game of Thrones has to be the biggest heap of shite I've ever seen. I dismissed it as worthless without watching it. Modern TV is a waste of electricity.

They add a wee bit of sex in it to spice it up but the characters look stupid and the so called 'script' is just some rubbish someone has written whilst being on the mushies. Trash 21st Century TV for the Tik Tok generation.

Same goes for Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and all those vacuous modern film franchises. My cut-off point for any kind of moving image content is around 1980.

I've never seen Game of Thrones either. Not one second.
Seen Harry Potter though - each film the once with the kids. Actually pretty enjoyable.
Just thinking about Zeo's cut off date, I was reminded that I started rewatching Jackie Brown (1997) on Netflix. Still a lot to love in the film. I got about halfway - will definitely finish it

Jackie Brown is always well worth watching. Robert Forster nails it as Max Cherry but the whole film and cast are brilliant👍

Seen a couple of Harry Potter films but they bored myself and the nephews to tears. The best film franchise of the Noughties were the Bourne films.

I've never seen Game of Thrones either. CGI nonsense I've worked in that field for the last 30 years. It pays the bills but it is also responsible for the death of cinema & TV craft.

Loved those Bourne films Game changers The Bourne Supremacy is the best. Paul Greengrass' direction was just a groundbreaking way to shot a film.

The technology shift began in 1993 when Kodak developed a scanner enabling digitisation of images shot on 35mm film. It's been downhill all the way since then.
