I'm tempted to watch it all over again.
I wasn't expecting the Freemason bit. It's surprising how infrequently Freemasonry is referenced on TV and in the media generally. Not that I'm a conspiracy theorist. 😃

Just on the penultimate episode. I was expecting some yuppie smugfest but it's nothing of the sort. You'd hardly know it was almost thirty years old. Still only on episode 3 so I'll avoid this thread until I finally get around to watching it.😃 It's more in the style of a kitchen sink drama than the likes of 'This Life' etc.

Eventually finished watching all of this earlier.
Very, good. Possibly, the last great BBC drama after the likes of I ,Claudius and Boys from the Black Stuff.
That iconic ending with Daniel Craig too.
Episode 6 from 1979 even had a punk soundtrack with The Undertones-My Perfect Cousin(although released a year later) The Ruts-Babylons Burning and the Clash's English Civil War(1978)
8/10👍
