www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/p0cpnd15/marriageThis is pretty much as the description in the link above. What I found interesting about this series was that it concentrated on the minutiae of relationships and life in general yet still retained a consistent storyline. A bit like a Mike Leigh film but not as sugary and I have to say, a compelling and memorable performance by Sean Bean. Also featuring Nicola Walker and James Bolam. 8/10...although be warned this has one of the most annoying telly themes I've heard in a long time.

I thought it was OK.
Seemed to attract a bit of criticism.

Sounds worth a watch Just got to fit it in Thanks rogue We watched it in 2 sittings. 4 episodes at around 50 minutes each. There's just no way you can watch everything on modern telly. There's just too much.

I thought it was OK. Seemed to attract a bit of criticism. Aye, I don't tend to read the reviews of others. It's purely subjective. Considering the amount of nonsense that's served up, you can always switch it off if you don't like it. I mean how many shows have people started only to ditch it....

^^^^^A certain kind of idiot seems to believe that if nothing much seems to be happening then it must be "boring" or "aimless".

^^^^^A certain kind of idiot seems to believe that if nothing much seems to be happening then it must be "boring" or "aimless". A lot of the best drama comes from the mundane. Look at the Coen Brothers for example and how they twist and embellish it.
