Went for a few pints on Friday
Was not bad in fact, no booking but have to give phone number and name.
The barmaid brought the drinks over after we ordered.
In some ways it was better as you don't have to queue. It just depends where you go.
The pub we went to near Hampden football stadium is usually quite quiet anyway.

Pubs have been nice, that’s all.

Myself and Mrs Roguepunk have been doing a virtual pub quiz. Started last week and is on again tonight.
Has anyone tried this? I thought it would be a right load of old kak but quite enjoyed it.
Considering, its going to be months before we get a sniff of a pub opening again, it might as well do for now.🤨

I'm still relying on Zoom calls with friends where one of us will sometimes do a quiz
I find quizes work best when they're tailored for the audience

It's good if ye get bored during the week.
I've been off this week so I'm doing a bit of work on the house, weather permitting so other than work colleagues myself and Mrs Roguepunk don't really see anyone.

Cut down a lot since lockdown as I could envisage it spiralling out of control in the absence of anything else to do.
Have substituted playstation for booze but I reckon I'll need a thumb transplant when this is all over.

I decided to cut back on drink in 2020, I had 2 pints on one occasion between Jan 1 and mid December, then I drank in moderation from mid Dec to mid Jan (a house move and xmas got me in the mood).
I only drink now if I really fancy one, rather than just drinking out of habit.

I had a couple of cans with the virtual pub quiz but I still like a good knees up before and after the footy.
