How flipping good does this look.....?
If it's half as good as Bait it'll be brilliant, but I suspect it's going to be even better

I've heard very good things about Bait but have yet to see it. You should prioritise it Stu - really clever and interesting film but also v watchable Instant classic

Saw this last night
I was keen to see this after Mark Jenkin's debut Bait. There's plenty to ponder but, equally, it is very hard to summarise.
It's far less of a horror film than the trailer implies. More of an exploration of solitude and sanity.
There's very little dialogue so the viewer has to piece together a lot of seemingly contradictory evidence to try to make sense of the story, or should that be stoies?
Definitely worth seeing if you enjoy ambiguity and originality but not what I was expecting.
If you're going to see it then best to see it on the big screen where you can really concentrate on the visual clues and the incredible atmosphere.
I suspect it will stay with me and it is unquestionably a brilliantly executed Cornish enigma.
8/10
